Girl Scouts of Western New York has teamed up with Food
Bank of WNY and Foodlink for a council-wide, month-long service project
that will help thousands in our region.
This replaces our participation in Scouting for Food & Clothing which was a Monroe County only activity run in conjunction with the Boy Scouts of Seneca Waterways Council. Girl Scouts Fight Hunger April 1 - May 1, 2015 Help fight hunger in our communities while earning the Girl Scouts of Western New York’s Girl Scouts Fight Hunger patch. Be part of this council-wide effort to combat hunger through knowledge, awareness, and a food drive to support the Food Bank of Western New York and Foodlink. Step 1: Discover and Connect With your troop, your family, or on your own, participate in an activity to discover and connect to the issue. Below are some example activities. Step 2: Take Action Throughout the month of April, collect donations to support the Food Bank of Western New York and Foodlink.
